CCB Announcer and Vocal Soloist

Originally from Greenbrier TN, Courtney Williams attended the University of Tennessee. After leaving UT, Courtney joined the United States Navy Band in Washington, DC. He has performed in 49 of 50 states as the acclaimed “Voice of the Navy.”

He served as Master of Ceremonies for hundreds of official functions, including the inaugurations of Presidents Obama, Trump and Biden. Renowned for his rich bass voice, Courtney has performed with The US Navy Band, Sea Chanters Chorus, Country Current, the Great American Pops Orchestra, and has sung the National Anthem for the Washington Nationals, Washington Commanders and Charleston Riverdogs.

Now retired from the Navy, Courtney, his wife and two boys live in Mount Pleasant where he is a realtor with Better Homes and Gardens Palmetto. He also serves on the board for LowCountry Veterans, an organization dedicated to providing transitional housing for homeless US military veterans in the Charleston area
