We celebrate Our Country, Our Freedom, and Our Nation’s Birthday by making Daniel Island the “Most Patriotic Town in America”.

Join the combined Charleston Concert Band and Columbia Community Band on Monday, May 29th, 3pm, at Hampton Park as they present their annual Memorial Day Concert. This patriotic program honors all those who made the ultimate sacrifice to preserve our freedom. Bring your folding chair and stake out a spot to enjoy music that represents the best of America!

The Charleston Concert Band presents a musical battle of good and evil, full of characters from Faust to Indiana Jones, with some witches and elves thrown in!

CCB is delighted to be asked to participate in this year’s tree lighting ceremony on Daniel Island. Our concert starts at 5:30 with the tree lighting taking place during the concert at 6:00.

Special performance by Mayor John Tecklenburg who will be playing piano with the band on George Gershwin’s “Summertime” as well as narrating “The Message on the Rock” by Robert Sheldon.

Saturday, December 7, 2019 from noon to 3:00 pm, Volvo Car Stadium on Daniel Island

On this day we honor those who have served our country in the Armed Forces. Our FREE concert will be held on the USS Yorktown. All veterans are admitted FREE to the USS Yorktown on this special day.

The Jazz Ensemble will perform at 2:00 PM followed by the Concert Band at 3:00 PM.

Donations are always accepted.

Join us as we celebrate Carolina Day. On June 28, 1776, British ships sailed into Charleston harbor and opened fire on a tiny fort on Sullivan’s Island.

To honor those who lost their lives for our freedom. We hope to see you at Marion Square in downtown Charleston for our joint concert with the Columbia Community Concert Band. This concert is free and brought to you by Piccolo Spoleto.
